GREATWALL MIXERS Completes Factory Integration and Testing of Polyurethane Mixing Skid

A polyurethane mixing skid designed for a polyurethane reaction process has been shipped after completing full factory integration and final inspection at GREATWALL MIXERS. The factory-integrated delivery enables significantly faster production start-up after the system arrives at the customer site.

The skid integrates the structural platform, valve assemblies, instrumentation, and control components. The automation package includes the control system, variable-frequency drive, and temperature monitoring. It displays operating speed and temperature and can transmit process signals to the customer’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES). After delivery, the skid will still require utility connections, control-system integration, electrical interlock verification, and operator training. Because the main equipment has already been assembled, integrated, and inspected before shipment, the required on-site installation and commissioning period can be substantially reduced — the delivery format does not eliminate all field work.

Before shipment, the impeller underwent static balancing, the mechanical seal was independently assembled and inspected, and the complete system passed its factory inspection with a factory inspection report issued. All product-contact surfaces were polished to Ra ≤ 0.4 μm. The customer therefore receives a fully integrated and verified system rather than individual components requiring extensive field assembly.
